The long wait is over as Samsung officially reveals the Samsung Galaxy S10 official release date.
Samsung recently announced that they will be holding an Unpacked event where they are expected to launch the Samsung Galaxy S10. The invitation containing the number 10 with a line at the middle of the number zero states that the Unpacked event will be held on February 20.
One main thing that followers are looking forward to is the confirmation on the rumor that the Samsung Galaxy S10 will have a foldable screen. After a teaser about Samsung and Google partnering together in developing of a foldable phone was released at the developer conference held on November 2018, rumors began spreading that Samsung is referring to the Samsung Galaxy S10.
However, rumors proved to be wrong as Samsung is heard to show off its new foldable device at the CES 2019. The Samsung Galaxy Fold known as the Fold or the Galaxy F is a fully functional foldable screen handset. CES guests who were privileged to see the device describes a bit of their Samsung folding experience. Some say that there have been no traces or creases seen as a sign that the device was bent. A CES attendee also added that holding the Galaxy F does not create a thick feeling but rather allowed them to have a stable grip.
On the other hand, Samsung is failing the followers' expectation on the Samsung Galaxy S10 release venue. People are expecting for the tech giant's 2019 flagship phone to be released at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. S10 is making its debut five days earlier than the Mobile World Congress and will be launched in San Francisco on February 20, 2019, at 11 a.m. PT. The tech giant is using the said event to launch the Samsung Galaxy Fold.
Samsung Galaxy S10 may have failed the loyal supporters' anticipation on having the foldable screen functions yet it is packed with features that will make good value for the waiting and for the money, according to The Inquirer.
PC World hints that the Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10+ will be powered by the latest Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 855 chipset. S10 is also set to feature a dual- camera and a 6.2-inch display. The right corner of the screen is expected to have a "hole punch" instead of a notch which makes the display more spacious. S10+, on the other hand, will feature a triple camera and will come at a 6.4-inch display.
