iPhone 11 remains to be one of the most talked about imminent new flagship today. Apple has kept mum about the yet-to-be-confirmed new device, and this pushed fans to create their theories and speculations.
Reports about Samsung Galaxy S10 featuring the 5G technology have become rife lately. Thus, it comes as no surprise that Apple fans are also expecting the forthcoming iPhone 11 to have the same feature. However, recent claims suggest that the new flagship might not only offer that as it could also have the so-called Wi-Fi 6 support.
Barclays analyst Blaine Curtis claimed, after CES 2019, that the upcoming iPhone 11 and its batchmates will support the 802. 11ax Wi-Fi standard or simply the Wi-Fi 6. The said feature is expected to improve internet connectivity performance, especially in jam-packed zones such as sports, festivals and concert events. Moreover, the said technology is, reportedly, more efficient in terms of battery consumption compared to its predecessors.
Aside from Wi-Fi 6, the iPhone 11 is also expected to support 5G connection. As a matter of fact, Apple considered MediaTek and Samsung to supply the 5G modems to be used in the forthcoming new iPhone series.
As for its processor, iPhone 11 is expected to feature the Apple A13 chipset, which is likely to bring significant improvements to the device's overall performance. Tech expert Dan Ives claimed, in a talk with The Sun, that the imminent new flagship will have a total of three rear cameras.
"This next phone will all be about triple rear-camera capabilities, with enhanced optical lens capabilities a major selling point," Ives said about the iPhone 11. "There could also be significantly enhanced face recognition technology and some other hardware/design enhancements to catalyze upgrades," he further said to the English publication.
Business Times China, previously, shared that iPhone 11 is likely to have a magic 3D camera that will allow users to generate 3D models of detected world objects. It was even reported that the device would have a much smaller notch compared to its predecessors.
The next Apple phone is speculated to arrive on Sept. 12, 2019, along with the forthcoming Apple Watch 5. While these reports could be true, it is important to note that the American tech giant has not yet released any confirmed details about its next flagship. Therefore, fans should take these unverified claims with a grain of salt until everything is proven correct. Stay tuned to the latest news and updates about iPhone 11.
