Huawei founder is assuring their customers that user privacy will be kept private and will not be shared with anyone.

In a rare meeting with the foreign journalists, Ren Zhengfie, Huawei Technologies Ltd. Founder boldly declare that the company will never share any secret information about their customers and their communication networks.

Ren released the statement in response to the allegations that the Chinese tech giant could be required to contribute in Chinese spying. Another rumor that surfaced was that Huawei is under the control of the ruling Communist Party.

The Huawei founder stated that they are in the business of protecting the interest of the global telecom carriers. He further assured that they will not waste the trust of the next-generation technology investors.

When asked about how Huawei Technologies Ltd will respond should the Chinese government demands for telecom technology foreign buyers' confidential information, Ren boldly responded that they will definitely say no to such a request.

Privacy leak allegations against the Chinese tech giant broke out after a Huawei employee was arrested for spying. The company announced that the said employee was laid off from service immediately. They also stated that the company has nothing to do with the arrested employee's action and the allegations against him as the Time reported.

Meng Wanzhou, Huawei's chief financial officer and Ren Zhengfei's daughter was arrested in Canada. U.S. charges were filed against her for Iran trade sanctions allegations. Meng was later released on bail and the process on her case is rolling out. The arrest was another reason for the rumors on Huawei's security issue to fire up even more.

Huawei's role as the lead competitor in the fifth generation technology launch is also another angle to look at on why the tech giant is being put on the spot with the issue of privacy leak. As 5G is a big leap towards network expansion, it also means deeper access to user information. Medical service, self-driving cars and other technologies made available may pose a higher risk of confidential information security failures.

Japan, United States, Australia, and other countries recently issued a halt on the use of the network gear used by phone and internet companies. Huawei is the supplier of the said network gear and is now sacrificed due to the issue of the tech giant being under the rule of the Communist Party or an asset in spying, according to MSN.
