After a couple of months under trial, the "Look What You Made Me Do" singer Taylor Swift's intruder has now been finally sentenced guilty after breaking into the pop singer's townhouse in New York City.

The Manhattan District Attorney's Office spokesperson confirmed in a statement that Roger Alvarado, the accused, will serve six months inside the jail before his probation for five years, as reported by Eyewitness News.

The spokesperson further revealed that the 22-year-old Alvarado also has to be under protection order for the next eight years as a part of his punishment to the crime he committed.

Aside from attempted burglary, which the accused has pleaded guilty of on December 7 of last year, Alvarado also has history of being charged with stalking (first degree), criminal mischief (third degree), burglary, and criminal trespassing (third degree) just a few months before he was held captive for the crime he committed against the "You Belong With Me" hitmaker.

Sources reveal that at the time the suspect committed the crime, which he has recently been accused of, Alvarado has reportedly entered the singer's townhouse, took a shower, and eventually fell asleep inside.

The authorities found Alvarado in that helpless state, which enables them to capture the culprit in no time. Further statements show that the pop star was not inside the vicinity when the crime happened, as stated by SBS News.

On December 7 of last year, the Manhattan District Attorney's Office released a statement that says, "Today, the defendant pleaded guilty to one count of Attempted Burglary in the Second Degree and one count of Criminal Contempt in the First Degree. He was promised a sentence of 6 months in jail and five years of probation. His probation will be served in Florida, and a condition of the probation is the completion of a mental health treatment program."

Meanwhile amid the controversies of the crime, Swift is currently very busy working on a musical movie version of the well-known hit show entitled "Cats," which will be directed by Andrew Lloyd Webber.

The musical, which is based from the book called "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats" written by TS Eliot, will feature the pop star as one of the leading roles named Bombalurina, who is the "flirtatious red adult female cat with a white chest and black spots and marks."

The musical movie version will be released on December 20 under Universal Pictures.
