A wedding planning company in Japan is now offering a "Pokémon-themed" wedding which comes with a complete package, including Pikachu-themed cake, as well as a possible appearance of the popular Pokémon mascot itself. Couples who are crazy about Pokémon can now have this option if they're planning to tie the knot.

Escrit, the Japanese wedding planning company behind the idea, now offers Pokémon-themed weddings and receptionists at their chapels around Japan, the Comicbook reported. The wedding plan comes with place cards and programs which feature two Pikachu hiding beneath a bed of flowers with only their tales sticking out - hinting they're sharing a post-wedding smooch - as well as a welcome board starring two Pikachu dressed up as the bride and groom.

Also, the Pokémon-themed wedding also includes a unique Pokémon-cake, complete with yellow frosting and macarons painted with pictures of Pokeballs and Pikachu. In the website, the company also teases a "wonderful performance," suggesting Pikachu mascot will come at the ceremony to wish newly-weds on their special day. As for the food, French cuisine will be served with Pokémon flourishes, including chocolate drawings of the bride and groom Pikachu on the plates.

Although a lot of fans have already held their very own Pokémon-themed wedding, this wedding plan offered by Escrit seemed to be the first ever "officially licensed" Pokémon wedding available. The wedding planning company has a large number of chapels all around Japan. Fans can book a Pokémon ceremony in Osaka, Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, Sendai, and even Okinawa.

At the moment, there is no price posted on the website of the company, but fans can already start signing up for wedding dates this coming February 27th.

Meanwhile, Pokémon-themed wedding is still considered as a new matrimonial offer, so the rules of etiquette aren't completely set. Still, this is a wonderful plan for couples who love Pokémon and are planning to get married, so a Pokémon-themed wedding is the best option to celebrate their special day.

Last year, a Japanese accessory maker U-Treasure also released a new line of Pikachu engagement and wedding rings. The engagement rings feature Pikachu carrying a compact melee diamond in his paws, while wedding rings feature a bolt of lightning carrying a melee diamond and Pikachu leaping for happiness in celebration of nuptials.
