Apple's iPhone X Mini coming out to the market soon brought high anticipation to a lot of iPhone users. The anticipation, however, comes to an end as the tech giant pulls out the iPhone SE sized device from the production.
The Forbes hints that Olixar one of Apple's known case makers recently released a statement saying that the iPhone X Mini will not be seen in the future. The reliable Apple case maker confirmed the latest reports coming from new sources about the iPhone SE sized device's cancellation.
Olixar noted that the tech giant would not be producing small sized phones such as iPhone SE. Apple is said to be engaging in larger phone production and is expected to release its largest iPhone ever made which is opposite to what the iPhone X Mini was expected to be.
Instead of the iPhone X Mini, Apple will launch a budget-friendly iPhone X that comes with a 6.1-inch display and the larger 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus to complement the recently released iPhone X with the 5.8-inch display.
A leaked previously leaked iPhone schematic of the Apple's next line up of phone releases comes to prove that iPhone X Mini which was expected to be the same size as that of the iPhone SE is not coming out at least soon. The schematic specified the dimensions of three iPhone models such as the iPhone X 143.6 x 70.9 mm (5.65 x 2.79-inches), 147.12 x 71.52 mm (5.79 x 2.81-inches) for budget-friendly iPhone X and the iPhone X Plus with the dimensions of 157.2 x 77.1 mm (6.18 x 3.03-inches).
Back in 2018, rumors surfaced in the internet claiming the Apple plans to produce the same edge to edge display as that of the iPhone X with a smaller display. Olixar was one of those who rose up to confirm the news backing their statement up with the supposed iPhone X schematics through CAD images.
Olixar is one of the most reliable smartphone leak sources including the upcoming iPhone releases. As proof that an iPhone X Mini is truly on its way, the cell phone case maker even stated earlier that they started the iPhone SE identical sized phone production, according to the Econo Times.
As of the moment, it is still unclear whether Apple will reconsider the iPhone X Mini production or what they will do with the cases that Olixar claims they began producing. Tim Cook, the Cupertino tech giant CEO clarified that they do not want their products to be labeled "just for the rich."
