Are you familiar with Disney's Winnie the Pooh? Pooh is actually one of the most loved fictional teddy bear created by A.A. Milne, who's very close to Christopher Robin, Roo, Piglet, Tigger, and Eoyore. Aside from the half-sized red shirt he has, Pooh is also well-known for his love of food especially honey, which makes him super cute and bubbly.
National Geographic agrees to that. In fact, according to them, bears are omnivores who loves to eat a lot especially insects, berries and roots. Aside from that, their diet also consists of fish and other mammals like carrion. And like the character of Pooh, these bears are also fond of the taste of honey, which makes them very attracted to Beehives.
Bears do love to eat a lot of things: fruits, vegetables, small animals, or even leftovers. But amid this, there is this man who discovered one more thing about their diet.
After visiting the zoological park in China's Jiangsu Province, a tourist who happened to be enjoying his ride on the skywalk over learned that no matter how hungry these bears may be, there is but one thing they will never ever eat: an iPhone.
The man found this out after he accidentally chucked his luxurious phone into the pen where the bears were having their afternoon snack at Jiangsu Province's Yancheng Wildlife Park.
In the video, which was posted on YouTube, the bears were seen very excited with their afternoon snack, which consists of carrots and apples, when all of a sudden they encountered an unknown object.
The brown bears became quite curious about the phone at first, maybe a bit confused whether it is a new kind of dish served for their dinner or not. But after almost a minute of inspection, perhaps realizing it is not a deadly nor an explosive device, one of the bears bravely picked up the phone using its mouth, which left everyone who witnessed in awe.
People from the web who were able to watch the video have mixed emotions towards what happened in the zoo.
Others think of it as funny and even called the act as "the most expensive way to feed" the bears. Some reacted negatively calling the man irresponsible for throwing his phone instead of the treats that are due to the bears.
Insiders say that as of now everything has been settled between the phone, bear, and tourist as zookeepers have eventually retrieved the phone after the adorable creature got bored and gave up on it. The phone was immediately returned to the owner.
