Little Bo Peep (voiced by Annie Potts) returns to Toy Story 4, and she is about to lead a mission with Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), Jessie (Joan Cusack), and the rest of the gang. The nursery rhyme character seems to mature now she's reunited with the group, but is it only a dream, a reality, or a flashback?
Annie Potts graced the Friday episode of Good Morning America, where Disney's Pixar also dropped a new teaser for Toy Story 4. Here, Little Bo Peep leads a mission to rescue a stray toy stuck outside the rain.
Little Bo Peep rolls out orders to Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, Slinky (Blake Clark), a squad of three Barbies, and her three sidekicks, who surprisingly have names, Billy, Goat, and Gruff in the "Operation Pull Toy." The group will do everything to save one of their own in Toy Story 4.
From the looks of it, the group is in a familiar place in Toy Story 4. Little Bo Peep, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and the rest of the team seem inside the bedroom of Andy's sister, Molly. To recall, they had moved to a new home when Andy brought and handed them to Bonnie. So, is this "Operation Pull Toy" scene only a flashback?
Meanwhile, in an interview with Annie Potts, via Entertainment Weekly, the 66-year-old star revealed Little Bo Peep now got "some 'tude" with her new look in Toy Story 4. As she has spent her life on the road, fans will never see her again like the porcelain doll they used to know on Andy's desk.
Annie Potts also revealed Little Bo Peep now has a decision in Toy Story 4 about her love triangle with Woody and Buzz. "I think she's made a choice now," she said. "I can only reveal so much."
Director Josh Cooley, on the other hand, said, as quoted by Digital Spy, Little Bo Peep has now taken control of her destiny. Woody and Bo would be surprised to see each other again in Toy Story 4.
Aside from Little Bo Peep's return, fans are about to meet a new set of characters in Toy Story 4. Bonnie is going to add a new toy on her collection, Forky (Tony Hale), and it will change Andy's point of view.
Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Little Bo Peep and rest of the group will be on a road trip in Toy Story 4. A teaser showed they would be in a carnival and meet some carnival toys, Ducky (Keegan-Michael Key) and Bunny (Jordan Peele).
Keanu Reeves, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, the late Don Rickles, and Estelle Harris are also listed as voice actors of Toy Story 4. The movie is set to come out on June 21 in the US and UK.
