NBC's much-awaited crossovers between Chicago Fire and Chicago PD are finally airing! While this is good news to the fans of the show, it won't particularly be great news for the members of Firehouse 51.

Chicago Fire season 7 episode 15 delivers the first part of the crossover special. Airing on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 9:00 p.m., the episode, titled What I Saw, will spell trouble for someone at the firehouse.

According to the episode synopsisa series of robberies will come to light on Chicago Fire season 7 episode 15 when the firehouse lockbox key is discovered lost. This necessitates a visit from the Chicago PD, where Officer Hank Voight (played by Jason Beghe) suspects it is an inside job. So, he asks Joe Cruz (played by Joe Minoso) to go undercover and find out if anyone in the firehouse is behaving suspiciously.

The second part of the crossover, titled Good Men, will continue at 10:00 with the airing of Chicago PD season 6 episode 15 on the same night. Based on what Cruz tells the cops in Chicago Fire season 7 episode 15, Voight tries his best to close the case without tarnishing a firefighter's reputation, especially when the one likely involved with the robberies was murdered, as per the episode listing.

According to Cinema Blend, however, the robbery suspect isn't within the Chicago Fire family whom viewers love. So, while it looks like someone from the team may be interesting to the police, in the beginning, it will all be ironed out in the conclusion of the crossover episodes.

This isn't the first crossover in the Chicago franchise, but unlike the event that aired in October 2018, the cast from Chicago Med won't be part of this week's stories. Chicago Fire and Chicago PD also did two-part crossovers last March 2018, January 2017 and February 2015.

Meanwhile, viewers of the Chicago Fire might be thrilled to know that the actors try to do their stunts as much as possible. Jesse Spencer (Matthew Casey) told TV Guide that it's one of the reasons why he signed up for the series since he's pretty athletic in real life. "I surf, I've done free-diving, and I like a bit of adrenaline, so that was really appealing to me," Spencer said.

Taylor Kinney (Kelly Severide) also does most of his stunts on Chicago Fire for as long as the network's insurance allows him to. But when it's quite risky, the stunt coordinators would sometimes trick the stars to sit it out instead.
