There is no denying that High School Musical 4 is among the highly-anticipated movies today. Avid followers of the popular American musical film franchise. However, since Disney has not yet revealed details about the imminent fourth installment, fans were forced to create their theories and predictions about what might transpire in the third sequel.

Speculations about the High School Musical 4 featuring the original cast have become rife for years. Previous claims suggested that Troy Bolton (Zac Efron), Gabriela Montes (Vanessa Hudgens), Sharpay Evans (Ashley Tisdale), Chad Danforth (Corbin Bleu), Ryan Evans (Lucas Grabeel), and Taylor Mckessie (Monique Coleman) would be back in the forthcoming fourth movie.

It was predicted that, even though High School Musical 4 would have a brand-new lineup of main characters, the major cast would still be a part of the storyline. It was said that Troy Bolton and Chad Danforth would portray as the new coaches of the East High basketball team. Though the official lineup of cast has not been announced yet, rumors are already rife that the cast for the upcoming television series version of the famous franchise would also be the stars in the fourth movie, namely: Ricky (Joshua Bassett), Nini (Olivia Rodrigo), EJ (Matt Cornett), Gina (Sofia Wylie), Kourtney (Dana Renee), Carlos (Frankie Rodriguez), Ashlyn (Larry Saperstein). Other stars to expect include Kate Reinders as Miss Jenn and Mark St Cyr as Mr. Mazzara.

The High School Musical 4 movie is, reportedly, going to be available exclusively on Disney's new streaming platform called Disney+. CEO Robert Iger shared that Disney+ is seen to compete with Netflix - another popular American streaming platform - but the former would have a lower price than the latter.

Digital Spy shared that the imminent fourth installment would pick up 15 years after the third movie concluded. Also, the third sequel is expected to feature brand new songs and, perhaps, some covers of songs from the previous installments.
