According to famed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple's new iPhone lineup will feature a slew of interesting new details and features new to their smartphone line, MacRumors reported. Although the upcoming flagships will retain the form feature as that of the current line, they will have new or upgraded specs.

Kuo's research note says that Apple will be releasing a 6.5-inch and 5.8-inch models with OLED panels, and a 6.1-inch model that uses LCD. All three will feature the same notch as the current iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. Also, all three will use Apple's Lightning connector, contrary to rumors that the new models will have USB-C.

Some of the major upgrades to the iPhone 11 lineup include the following:

"UWB or 'Ultra-Wide Band'." Used for indoor positioning and navigation, this new feature will allow for more precise GPS locations, especially when the phone is inside certain structures or facilities.

"Frosted glass casing." Apple is going to introduce a frosted glass design in the upcoming iPhone 11. How this looks like remains unknown at the moment, but it's likely to enhance the iPhone's current aesthetic.

"Larger batteries." The Cupertino giant reportedly plans to equip the new iPhone 11 models with larger batteries that will either give them longer standby and talk time, or allow them to power through memory- and battery-heavy apps. Either way, this seems like a good follow up to Apple's surprisingly successful battery replacement program.

"Bilateral wireless charging." Aside from having larger battery capacities, the new iPhones are said to have the capacity to charge other devices. While it's unclear if the iPhone 11 will draw from its own battery to  serve as a powerbank of sorts, it does sound like the phone can be used as a "charging point" for other devices, BGR noted.

"Upgraded Face ID." The 2019 iPhone line is slated to receive an upgraded Face ID. This will be helpful in several instances, with security and privacy being at the top of the list.

"Triple Camera Feature." Previous leaks said Apple is incorporating a three-camera setup for the new iPhone line.  Kuo, however, did not specify which model will sport three rear cameras. Perhaps, the largest and most expensive of the three will come with it, while the other two will retain the current setup.

While these details came from Kuo, they are still mere predictions of what's going to come. iPhone hopefuls are advised to wait for official announcements from Apple, while taking all rumors and speculations with a grain of salt.
