Viewers and fans will have their hands full watching the circumstances surrounding how Prince Charles met the current love of his life back in the 70s very soon. The British royal family drama will be bringing in a striking piece to its upcoming show. The Crown Season 3 has added actress Emerald Fennell to assume the role of the young Camilla Parker-Bowles.

Helena Bonham Carter, Ben Daniels and Marion Bailey will take on the roles of Princess Margaret, Lord Snowdon and the Queen Mother, respectively, for The Crown Season 3. Tobias Menzies of The Outlander is also on board as Prince Philip.

On the other hand, Josh O'Connor will be coming in as Prince Charles. He will be assuming the role vacated by Julian Baring. It is likely that the incoming actor will depict royal duties for the next two seasons.

The choice of Netflix for the person to play the Duchess of Cornwall is probably on point. Fennell has admitted her admiration for the controversial figure in Prince Charles's life. It has also helped that the actress had a teenage upbringing which has equipped her to assume a chain-smoking character with a bowl haircut.

The Crown has run each its season by focusing on a corresponding decade of the pair's life together. It should also be noted that the Netflix show has continued to integrate new actors to assume the real-life characters.

Lyla Barrett-Rye will be replaced by Erin Doherty as Princess Anne in her middle teenage years. Both Fennell and the latter have acted together on the Call the Midwife drama. Olivia Colman of The Night Manager will be replacing Claire Foy as Queen Elizabeth II.

According to BBC, the third season will go on air sometime in 2019. Production has picked up the filming pace in July last year. The show is slated to complete a six-part series. As of late, the decade to be tackled is yet unclear.

Season 2 has ended its last episode with a storyline connected to 1964. One of the moments to look forward to during the third installment is the trouble arising from the relationship of Princess Margaret and Lord Snowdon who actually called it quits in 1978.

Of particular interest is the appearance of Princess Diana on The Crown Season 3. It is likely that she will be introduced during the finale of the season. The actress who will portray the beloved figure is still unknown as of the moment.
