Shadowhunters Season 3B finally started, and it would be the beginning of the end. The show is now gearing up to its conclusion, and its cast revealed they would surely give a satisfying ending with its two-part season finale.
Shadowhunters Season 3B began on Monday, February 25, with Episode 11, titled "Lost Souls." Here, Jace (Dominic Sherwood) get freed from Lilith's (Anna Hopkins) control, but the aftermath of their battle rocked everyone. Simon (Alberto Rosende) wanted to get himself out of the Mark of Cain and Lily escaped her captor.
Originally, Shadowhunters Season 3B has 10 episodes, but Freeform ordered for additional two episodes for a two-part season finale, per Cosmopolitan. It would surely be exciting, knowing that the show would have a long ending. As this would be Clary (Katherine McNamara) and the rest of the gang's final bow, the network would definitely give a proper closure to their story.
Freeform has yet to reveal the official storyline of Shadowhunters 3B's two-episode finale, and how it would be connected to the previous episodes. However, McNamara teased that it would be "the best episodes" they have ever done.
Meanwhile, TVLine reported every character would be hitting rock bottom in the remaining Shadowhunters Season 3B episodes. In an interview, McNamara revealed her characters would "never, ever be the same." The explosion has permanently changed Clary, so fans would never see the person that she was.
Clary and Jace would also get reunited in Shadowhunters Season 3B. However, the time is not right for them as they have hit a "real rough patch." Although Clary understands that Jace was under control, it would still take its toll on him.
Harry Shum Jr., who plays as Magnus, revealed Magnus would be adjusting to his new life as a mortal. Although he didn't regret giving up his powers, he still found it hard living this way. Alec (Matthew Daddario), on the other hand, is having a hard time to understand his boyfriend in Shadowhunters Season 3B, and the final episodes would be a "whirlwind" for the couple.
Meanwhile, Simon (Alberto Rosende) has been hit the hardest by Clary's alleged demise. Fans would see Simon at the rock bottom with Clary's disappearance. Although he made a great sacrifice for his mother, it even pushed him "further from the world of the mundane."
Lastly, Simon and Izzy would grow closer in Shadowhunters Season 3B's final episodes. The two would spend a lot of time together as they work in a number of missions. They would start to fall for one another, and it would be "so heated." Shadowhunters Season 3B's last 11 episodes would air every Monday on Freeform.
