Hunter x Hunter is now in a hiatus, but fans can watch the series again soon on Netflix. There is also a lot of news surrounding the fan-favorite manga from Episode 131 English dub to new merchandise.
Avid fans can now collect new Nendoroid figures revealed at the recent WonderFest 2019 convention in Japan. The Hunter x Hunter Nendoroid collection features Gon, Killua, Kurapika, and Chrollo.
Unfortunately, Leorio, who is a member of this team, is not part of the line yet. But according to Comic Book, if the Hunter x Hunter Nendoroid collection becomes successful, his figure may come out later along the line. Hisoka may also be part of the set as the group's main villain.
The prototypes give fans a good look at what they can expect from the Hunter x Hunter figures. Gon and Killua both don Chimera Ant arc tanktop look while Kurapika has the main look, and Chrollo displays post introduction look.
Among the four figures, Chrollo has the more detailed look, but it might change when the final Hunter x Hunter figures officially come out. FREEing in Japan creates this new collection, which stands 10cm tall. However, it has yet to reveal its release date or pre-order schedule.
Meanwhile, fans can finally witness the debut of Gon's disfigured transformation heightened up by his rage in the most famous Hunter x Hunter Episode 131 on Toonami. This chapter will officially start the fight between Gon and Neferpitou. Here, he will learn that Kite is really dead and he will lose all his hope and sanity that will lead to his evolution.
He will transform into a monster that can destroy and kill Neferpitou. Although this transformation can be said "out of context," it is a devastating moment to see him willing to lose everything as he mourns for Kite. Hunter x Hunter Episode 131's English dub reveals a big shift in the Chimera Ant arc and the series as a whole.
In the meantime, as the manga series is in a hiatus, fans have the chance to re-watch Hunter x Hunter as it is about to come on Netflix. The streaming service's March 2019 titles include the fan-favorite manga series, so fans can now prepare binge watching.
