With only four episodes left, AMC's The Walking Dead Season 9 is getting a little more intense. And as the new episode, titled Chokepoint, is fast approaching, the viewers and fans are now asking what would then happen to the remaining cast.
Looking at the synopsis from Cartermatt, it seemingly appears that the upcoming episode will draw its primary focus on Daryl. According to the episode's outline, Daryl is set to go on a daring mission to save and rescue all the people that he cares about.
Although it has been already established since the first season of The Walking Dead that Daryl is a great field fighter and survivor, things have already changed. And this time, the enemies and challenges are more complicated and demanding than the first time around. So, his supposed mission will certainly bring fear and doubt as to whether he'll survive this time or not.
In the previous seasons and episodes, Daryl has become one of the most critical characters in the show. But while many fans and viewers prefer Daryl to lead over Rick Grimes, his character development shows that he is not the leader type. His social skills are not even that great even after nine seasons.
However, when Rick departed his post on episode 5, it feels like he is now looked upon as the leader of the clique to which he finds unsatisfying because that's not what he is. Even so, things might change in Chokepoint as he somehow instructs Lydia to kill Beta first during the mission.
Accordingly, the next episode might focus more on Daryl's character. Nevertheless, Chokepoint will also show how Daryl's actions will force Alpha to command her group in retrieving what belongs to her. It has been pointed out in the trailer that Alpha does not care if the price for these events is blood. So, it is very likely that the upcoming episode will be a bad and bloody one.
On another aspect, Express magazine also shared the plans to reunite the communities by the Kingdom might be put on hold due to some reasons. And it could be the actions made by the other characters mentioned or possibly by the Whisperers.
But even so, all of these will soon unveil as the episode 13 of the The Walking Dead Season 9 will arrive on AMC on March 10.
