It's almost here - You Me Her will finally return to the small screen with Season 4. To tide fans over until it comes out, here's everything we know about the next season, from the release date to plot and returning cast members.
The third season of You Me Her heavily revolves around the polyamorous relationship that develops between a married couple, Jack Trakarsky (Greg Poehler) and Emma Trakarsky (Rachel Blanchard), and an escort, Isabelle "Izzy" Silva (Priscilla Faia).
To make things more complicated, Emma found out that she is pregnant with Jack's child. While excitement for the baby grows, so do the tensions among trio as they constantly argued about where to raise the baby and if the former should take the management job at the firm back in Seattle.
All the drama came to an end with Emma screwing up her interview for the said management job. Instead of being sad about, the incident made her realize what she wanted - she wanted to continue her relationship with Jack and Izzy. Hence, the trio took part in a commitment ceremony in a pizza joint in front of their family and friends.
Now, the upcoming You Me Her Season 4 picks up with Emma, Jack, and Izzy settling back in after the surprise poly commitment ceremony. The trio also eyes life in the suburbs and test-rents the Helen Wilberg house in suburban Hawthorne Heights, where their unique relationship will surely raise everyone's eyebrows.
"[Emma, Jack, and Izzy] They're settling back into the 'burbs to live a tweaked version of the conventional 'married with children' life. Are 'the accidental polyamorists' trying to jam a triangular peg into a round-hole world? Will they break the neighborhood, their peculiar romance, or both?," AT&T Audience Network said in a press statement obtained by TV Series Finale.
In addition to the above-mentioned characters, You Me Her Season 4 will see the return of Nina Martone (Melanie Papalia), Andy Cutler (Jarod Joseph), and Kylie (Carmel Amit). It will be directed by Jem Garrard with creator John Scott Shepherd serving as showrunner and executive producer. Alta Loma's Peter Jaysen and Alan Gasmer also serve as executive producers with Jonathan Schwartz producing.
You Me Her Season 4 is set to premiere on April 9 at 10/9c on AT&T Audience Network. Stay tuned to Business Times China for the latest You Me Her spoilers, predictions, and updates.
