Songs by K-pop group BTS have found their way to North Korea via a flash drive. Unfortunately for the person who owned the device, he got arrested for bringing it to the country.

According to Soompi, a USB containing some songs of the hit boy band were found at a house in Hyesan of Yang Kang province. The device, which was found last month, also contained a handful of South Korean dramas.

The flash drive belongs to a man named Mr. Min. The individual in question is reportedly a former soldier, who was discharged from military service because of illness.

The publication clarified that a total of two USBs were found at the household. The first one contained tracks popularized by BTS; whereas the other had South Korean dramas on it. The latter included the 2018 hit drama titled "Marry Me Now."

The individual responsible for the flash drives was immediately arrested right at the scene and taken straight to a detention center in North Korea. Mr. Min is expected to be investigated by the country's Provincial Department of Protection.

This is not a surprising move from North Korea. After all, it is infamous for reducing the possibility of its people to break away from the implemented system. And to protect it, the country is hell-bent at prohibiting its citizens the usage of materials believed to promote capitalism. As such, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea gives severe punishment to individuals who are caught violating its law. The same thing can be said for the aforementioned person in possession of songs and videos from South Korea.

In related news, 103.3 AMP RADIO reports that BTS has recently reached a new milestone after becoming the first Asian artist to sell out the ever-popular Wembley Stadium. The group is slated to perform on the stadium for its upcoming "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself" world tour.

The aforementioned London stadium is capable of housing 90,000 seats, all of which were sold out in just less than 90 minutes. Through this accomplishment, the K-pop group has put its name to a list that includes Beyonce, Adele, Michael Jackson, and One Direction.

BTS continues to be a worldwide phenomenon, establishing a status known internationally in the industry. Even more so, the group's fanbase has become more diverse, with female fans of ages 24 to 35. The boys are expected to break even more records previously held by some of the most iconic names in the music industry.
