"NBA 2K19" players eager to find out the latest updates for players in the game may be happy to note that two guards from the Eastern Conference got a noticeable player rating boost. They are Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls and Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks, both of who have been putting up good performances as of late in the ongoing NBA season.

On one end is LaVine who has been having a fine month thus far. From a previous ranking of 86, the 24-year-old got a +2 for an updated "NBA 2K19" player rating of 88 as revealed on Facebook. Unfortunately, this may be the last update for the 13th overall pick of the 2014 NBA Draft.

LaVine is dealing with knee problems and the word out is that he could be shut down for the season. He is not expected to be part of the next roster update although he does have a credible ranking as of this writing, Forbes said.

On the other end is Young who has been making waves in his rookie year with the Hawks. From a previous "NBA2K19" player rating of 79, the 20-year-old got three jumps up to have an 82 OVR. Unlike LaVine, his rating could still go up depending on his play.

Seeing that Young seems to be making a case for the NBA Rookie of the Year plum, it is likely that he may get another boost by the next "NBA 2K19" update.

Aside from LaVine and Young, there were other movers in the recent update for "NBA 2K19". Among the players who have at least 80 and above OVR that gained include:

• Karl-Anthony Towns: 91 OVR (+1)
• Bradley Beal: 88 OVR (+1)
• Andre Drummond: 87 OVR (+1)
• Chris Paul: 87 OVR (+1)
• Clint Capela: 87 OVR (+1)
• DeMar DeRozan: 87 OVR (+1)
• Devin Booker: 87 OVR (+1)
• Jrue Holiday: 86 OVR (+1)
• Danilo Gallinari: 84 OVR (+1)
• Deandre Ayton: 84 OVR (+1)
• Bojan Bogdanovic: 83 OVR (+2)
• Lauri Markkanen: 83 OVR (+1)
• Jamal Murray: 83 OVR (+1)
• Derrick Favors: 81 OVR (+1)
• Brandon Ingram: 81 OVR (+1)

Aside from the player rating update, a new patch is reportedly on its way to address game exploits on "NBA 2K19". According to Director of Brand Marketing Ronnie 2K, patches for a gameplay fix for pushing is expected to follow in the coming days.

For those who may be unaware, this problem normally crops up when a defender can literally push an offensive player who does not have the ball. This tactic will result in turnovers through errant passes, particularly during inbound plays.
