For the 42nd birthday of Coldplay frontman and Gwyneth Paltrow's ex-husband Chris Martin last March 2, Julia Roberts and Sean Penn arrived arm-in-arm as they headed toward the Martin's Malibu residence.
The scene last March 2 on Chris Martin's birthday wherein Julia Roberts and Sean Penn arrived arm-in-arm, was the starting point of the issue that Danny Moder, who wasn't in the occasion, allegedly felt "upset" on the closeness and friendship of Roberts and Penn. Although the gestures of the Pretty Woman star and the filmmaker were friendly as they speak with the other guests, that was the only time they were seen together or became close.
Sean Penn arrived with a bottle of wine for the occasion along with an orange umbrella for the gloomy weather that day, while the other stars arrived with their casual attires of sweatpants, jeans, jumpsuits and track pants, considering that the event was star-studded.
Because Julia Roberts was not with his husband, Danny Moder, and they are recently bombarded by rumors their marriage are already hitting rock bottom. Some source claims that Julie Roberts have been asking pieces of advice from Sean Penn and that they spend so long on the phone, texting one another in the recent months.
