Pauley Perrette will once again shine on TV screens after her unexpected ending with NCIS. 16 years have passed when NCIS creator Don Bellisario told Perrette how he wanted to introduce a Vietnam vet who defied the negative stereotype that is when he created Magnum, P.I. Together with Pauley Perrette's character, Abby Sciuto was introduced together with Jethro Gibbs, Anthony DiNozzo, and Dr. Donald Mallard  in the episodes "Ice Queen" and "Meltdown" of the television show JAG (which together served as the backdoor pilot for NCIS.) But on October 4, 2017, Perrette announced that she would be departing the show at the conclusion of season 15; CBS aired her final episode on May 8, 2018.

Although Pauley Perrette assured everyone that she is in good terms with the show and the network, cryptic messages emerged from her social media saying that she was supporting anti-bullying programs and that she has also experienced what the victims have. Words such as "Multiple Physical Assaults" has bothered her Twitter followers and has built speculations that there may be troubles between her and some co-stars of NCIS. But now that she is set to return on television, the events happened last year was already let bygones be bygones, however, her comeback will be from a newly created series entitled Broke.

Broke is a story of two siblings forced to reconnect after one sibling and her husband lost all their wealth. The multi-camera comedy is created by Jennie Snyder Urman, the same genius that started  Jane the Virgin and Will & Grace executive producer Alex Herschlag. Pauley Perrette's character as Jackie is a struggling single mom of her 9-year old son, but her witty and tough personality allows them to live in a comfortable home. However, circumstances happened that the husband of her sister, Miguel, played by Jane the Virgin alum Jaime Camil was cut-off of his wealth and will have to live in the condo of Jackie.

Jaime Camil was also the executive producer of the show Broke and they have already started in good camaraderie after Pauley Perrette posted a pic on Twitter of her and Camil, and wrote in the caption that they were "coming soon." The Coco star responded by saying "Words can't describe how happy and blessed I feel to be sharing the screen with you @PauleyP. Having your talent, personality and beautiful soul in the show makes us sooo happy. Thank you for saying yes to this adventure."

Pauley Perrette's comeback to television has already brought excitement to her numerous followers and viewers as she started her character as Abby Sciuto. Perrette was even hailed in January/February 2010 Performer Q Score as one of the top 3 alongside Tom Hanks and Morgan Freeman. She was also the only woman to make the top 10. As of Winter of 2018, her Q Score is 44, giving her the highest score of all current female TV actresses.
