Before February concluded, Showtime has released its first-ever promotional trailer for the all-new season of Billions. And based on the promo, the first episode of the fourth installment is set to premiere on March 17 of this year.
It's been almost a year since the third season has ended. And having the officer trailer at hand gives the fans of the show a much more interesting look at how the fourth season will run its course.
The first episode of Billions season 4 is titled Chucky Rhoades' Greatest Time. From the title itself, the fans already know that this next installment will feature more power and authority management from the characters of the show, especially Chuck.
In the official synopsis, it has been revealed that Axe is on its way to end the ranks. And this is for the sole purpose of having Taylor's efforts and career to come to an end. Although there is no assurance as to whether Axe will succeed in annihilating Taylor's efforts, it seemingly appears that Axe will do everything this season to wreck Taylor along with their company.
As for Chuck, he is no longer the U.S. Attorney, so there is a huge chance that he will fall into another position come the first few episodes of Billions Season 4. And since he is already ousted from his position, he will surely do all his best to regain the power and authority that he had, just like the determination that Axe has.
These series of events are the stepping stones to the upcoming season of Billions. Given the fact that Chuck is already out of his powerful title, the whole run of season 4 might focus on his hopes to regain his power.
And of course, there's Axe, who is a very ambitious and smart character that will do everything to outmaneuver the other characters. So, in one way or another, there might be a chance that Axe and Chuck will help one another sometime in between the course of the show.
But even so, fans will get to confirm more of these revelations once the first episode of the season 4 airs on Showtime. Viewers can watch on the network at the same schedule. Plus, streaming is available too. Online streaming platforms like Hulu and Roku will also premiere the upcoming season of Billions and other Showtime shows and series as well.
