Boruto and rest of the team will continue to solve the mystery behind the Cursed Seal on Boruto Episode 99, titled "Jūgo and the Cursed Seal." The anime series already started to enter the new Jūgo arc, and it looks like fans are quite confused about where it is heading.

The show has been featuring a lot of filler arcs that make it quite annoying. Masashi Kishimoto, who is behind the success of the original manga series Naruto, promised he would be supervising Boruto, but fans are longing to see some interesting stuff that the manga has.

Before Boruto Episode 99 takes place, the previous episode showed a faraway village often attack by a flock of angry birds. However, these creatures are not regular kind of birds as it seemed to be under control of a spell.

Boruto and Sumire's teams worked together to solve the mystery surrounding the attacks. Here, fans also met Jūgo, the former member of Team Taka. He holds the Sage Transformation power that gives him the ability to absorb natural energy and use it at his own will.

However, Jūgo can also go berserk and his craziness is somehow related to the bird attacks. The animals and Jūgo are under Orochimaru's Cursed Spell, and the latter is caught in the middle. Boruto Episode 99 is expected to explore more about Jūgo's ability and story.

Just like the previous episode, Boruto Episode 99 will be focusing on Jūgo. Team 7 will also b seen working directly on the field on this episode. Business Times recently reported Boruto and Sarada would confirm Jūgo is the monster they met.

However, Jūgo only became a monster because he was under the cursed seal's influence. Fans would see more of Jūgo on Boruto Episode 99. He already had the incredible strength and animal instinct since he was born, but the curse only made it more powerful. It made him become a wilder creature.

Unfortunately, Jūgo cannot control himself. Hence, he will end up attacking Boruto, Team 7, Sarada, and Team 15 on Boruto Episode 99. But, it remains to be seen if they can even match his power under the curse's influence and bring him down.

Although there are fans that complain about how the anime series rolls, Boruto Episode 99 seems to be interesting with Jūgo, Boruto, Sarada, and the rest of the team's fight. "Jūgo and the Cursed Seal" will be out on Sunday, March 24. You can watch it either on Funimation, Crunchyroll or Hulu.
