With the previous season finale's turn of events, Power Season 6 will be different from the rest. Aside from 50 Cent's exit, there will be a new showrunner that will add up his creativity to the show's story. A dead character is also said to return.

The former executive producer Gary Lennon will be now Power Season 6's co-showrunner, along with the creator Courtney Kemp. According to OtakuKart News, Starz is happy to have Lennon on board and as its creative head as he is also one of the people who are behind the show's success.

Starz remains mum about Power Season 6, but little information about the show has emerged. Kemp revealed Angela's (Lela Loren) death killed Ghost (Omari Hardwick) and Tommy's (Joseph Sikora) friendship. And it will be at play at the beginning of next season.

"In some ways, it's going to control at least the beginning of next season," Kemp said, per Capital Xtra. He also added Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.) would have a bigger role to play on Power Season 6.

Sohh reported Rotimi, who plays as Dre, hinted that there would be a face-off between his character and Ghost on Power Season 6. In a post on Instagram, the 30-year-old star shared an on-set photo of their characters' chair and captioned it with watching eye and laughing emoji.

Meanwhile, there are rumors Angela didn't meet her demise in the previous season finale. Although she got shot, her death was not seen on screen compared to Kanan. Hence, there is a big possibility that Lela Loren would return to Power Season 6 to reprise her role.

Kemp even confirmed Lela Loren would be on Power Season 6, although he didn't reveal what she would exactly do in the series. Aside from the 38-year-old star, there will be a lot of characters returning to the show to complete the new season's cast.

Naturi Naughton returns to play as Tasha St Patrick. Of course, Joseph Sikora will make a comeback to reprise his role as Tommy Egan, who is behind Angela's alleged death. Fans will see if Tommy will pay for his crimes on Power Season 6 or Ghost will take justice in his hands. Michael Rainey Jr. will also return to play a bigger part as Tariq.

Starz has yet to reveal when Power Season 6 will be out, but there are theories it will follow its previous season's timeline. The past installments were usually released in June or July, so fans could expect the show to premiere in either of the said months.
