A new report published this week claims Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are spending millions on IVF treatments for years but with no success. This claim, however, has been corrected. The couple isn't spending such amount and isn't trying such treatments.
In Touch magazine recently reported Stefani would give up her dream of having a child with Shelton after trying to conceive a baby girl over the past years. According to an alleged tipster of the outlet, while the singer thinks spending "$4 million" on IVF treatments doesn't matter, she wanted to stop it now because it becomes "physically" and "emotionally" grueling for her. Stefani hasn't told Shelton about this yet, but she's allegedly "heartbroken" and "in tears" over it.
The unnamed source contends the singer doesn't know what to say to her boyfriend about her plans to stop IVF because she knew he's hoping to have a kid of his own. The unknown insider added that although the couple is blessed with what they have now and with Stefani's kids with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, the singer knew her boyfriend wants to have his baby. However, things didn't go very well, and she's a "wreck" because of this.
The untraceable tipster concluded they couple still has options such as surrogacy and adoption, so Stefani hasn't given up her hope, but her "dream baby" is currently on hold. But then, Gossip Cop confirmed this latest report from the outlet's unidentifiable source is completely made-up, and in fact, Stefani's rep confirmed the tabloid's premise is "untrue" and made sure the couple didn't spend millions on IVF treatments.
It's worth mentioning that In Touch magazine has frequently been making wrong reports about Stefani and Shelton. For instance, Gossip Cop busted the outlet back in November for wrongly reporting the famous couple was expecting a baby and they're planning to get married on Shelton's Oklahoma ranch. None of these even happened - there's no baby on the way, and they didn't tie the knot. Moreover, these previous claims weren't even mentioned on the tabloid's latest report.
In March 2018, the same outlet also published a false report claiming Shelton dumped Stefani, while it reported in November 2017 the couple had a baby on the way. All of these reports never happened, and it's clear the outlet has no insight regarding the couple's relationship. Thus, this latest claim about them spending millions on IVF treatments is more fiction as well.
