The timing seems just right for Tristan Thompson to attempt to win back Khloe Kardashian's affections now that his game season is approaching a close. He thinks to do this wooing by whisking her away for a romantic vacation.
After being involved in two cheating scandals, the latest being with now-ex-Kylie-Jenner-BFF Jordyn Woods in February, the basketball player has a lot to make up for.
Thompson has reportedly realized how much he is going to lose without Kardashian and their 11-month-old daughter, True. A friend of the Cleveland cavalier revealed recently that the former expressed he wished to be back with his family.
This source close to the Canadian also said that Thompson was well aware of the difficulties he will face in deciding to fight to have his family back, but that he is nonetheless willing to go through it all. The informer went on to say that the NBA player will work hard to be forgiven and has even laid "the groundwork" for his plan.
Thompson has reportedly called the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star some times at her home. He also hopes to do some FaceTime with his daughter, at the same time get more opportunities to speak with Kardashian.
The strategy ostensibly is for the 28-year-old to make his move after his last game of the season on April 9, after which he will have all the time until September's basketball camp to carry out his romantic game plan.
In the time he has, he intends to fully devote his attention to winning back his sweetheart with this approach, just like he did last year after his other cheating scandal, that time involving a stripper from a New York City club, the informer explained.
Thompson is purportedly hoping Kardashian agrees to go with him for the planned vacation, so he can show her just how he regrets what he has done. At this point, this is all just a plan he worked out, as he has not come close to asking her yet. The basketball player though believes that some weeks of keeping in touch day to day will help soften her up because she is reportedly still too mad at him.
Considering Kardashian's stand on True continuing to have a relationship with her dad, Thompson may get an opportunity to try and win the socialite back. The KUWTK star has pointed this out on Twitter, after a fan of hers commented on how the little girl only "needs" her, excluding her dad.
In her tweet, Kardashian made a "promise" that whatever transpires between her and Thompson, her daughter will never be put between "him and I."
