Engagement, wedding, and surrogacy are just some of the hottest topics that were reported by various tabloids about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton. But things got escalated this week as the newest reports claim that the Sweet Escape singer is planning to visit the Vatican and beg Pope Francis for an annulment.

As per these reports, the Catholic Church will not recognize any marriage ceremony of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton even if the former is already divorced. This is because her marriage with Gavin Rossdale is not yet annulled. So, this must be done first before the church officiates a wedding between the couple.

The tabloids assert that Gwen is very much "desperate" to have a Catholic wedding. And with these circumstances at hand, this made her decide to visit the Vatican in Rome to personally speak with the Pope to resolve the said matter.

It has been also stated that Gwen is first seen to meet with her priest, along with the other religious officials for the annulment of her first wedding. And this process may take up to three years but she's not happy to wait, a source claims on the reports.

There are also rumors that her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, is not pleased with her recent movements towards their marriage. Hence, the tabloids concluded that this will be a very difficult time for everyone who is involved. And this is why the most effective solution is to get the Pope involved.

Obviously, these reports became very questionable to many people. And to think that she's going to talk to the Pope is simply unbelievable. Who even does that, right? But fortunately, Gossip Cop learned the truth behind all these crazes and revealed what really went down.

As it happens, the outlet was able to talk to Gwen Stefani's representative who is qualified to speak on behalf of the couple. And based on the information obtained, it has been unveiled that none of these reports are true. Gwen Stefani is not planning any trip to Rome. And she's not looking for an annulment, the rep told Gossip Cop

It has been also explained that these reports made by tabloids are inconsistent with the claims that Us Weekly published not long ago. According to the magazine, Gwen is willing to wait even if it takes a year to annul her marriage.

But, it is worth noting that these entities are sisters in terms of publication. And being inconsistent with the reports only proves that the supposed sources (if there are) are not credible.

So, to conclude it all, it goes to show that these new reports about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are nothing but made-up stories for entertainment.
