After two years of exclusively dating, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are now engaged. The top MLB Sport Analyst proposed to the Selena actress during their Bahamas getaway which only happened a few days ago.
But while the newly engaged couple is having one of their happiest moments in life, this did not hinder the tabloids and magazines to assert negativities about the couple.
As it appears, recent reports revealed that Jennifer Lopez is asking Alex Rodriguez to sign a prenup that is worth $760 million in totality. And not only that the prenup is hefty, but it is also believed that it includes a "cheating clause" in the agreement.
According to the supposed source, Jennifer Lopez wants her relationship with Alex to last. And having three divorces to go through in the past only shows that the actress is pretty much aware that happy endings are not always bound to happen, the source added.
This is actually possible due to the fact that the two stars are not strangers to divorce at all, especially Jennifer Lopez who happens to be married several times. So, having a prenup with an infidelity clause is pretty acceptable and practical for both parties.
But while these reports may be true as there is a possibility of a prenup, Gossip Cop debunked all of these allegations. Apparently, Jennifer Lopez is not asking her fiance to sign a prenup at all. And there is no apparent proof that shows otherwise.
In actuality, the only thing that these tabloids and magazines have is the statements of a phony tipster. But aside from these claims, no other evidence or proof has been revealed to the public.
On the other hand, Gossip Cop was able to reach out to the couple at the spotlight. The outlet was assured that these reports about the two stars and the said prenup are all "nonsense." Also, the singer is not having any trust issue before walking down the isle. And she is not demanding for a cheating clause in a prenup, the source close to Jennifer Lopez contended.
In an interview with People magazine, it has been also revealed that they are "excited" to build a family and future together. Additionally, the couple is "really happy," Jennifer Lopez, herself, told the magazine.
She even added that they are stronger together and they know each other's dreams. Ultimately, they are just "grateful," Alex Rodriguez added.
With these statements made by the couple themselves, it only strengthens the fact that there are no apparent trust issues between the two. So, having a prenup does not fit the picture at all.
