Anyone who enjoys a cloak-and-dagger show will follow the exploits of Sandra Oh in Killing Eve Season 2. While a lot of fans may have been disappointed with how the series ended the last stretch, viewers will relish the action-packed scenes which will introduce the upcoming installments.

It is Paris once again. Jodie Comer's Villanelle manages to get away from the deadly blade of protagonist Eve. The score between these two assassins will nonetheless start all over again. Killing Eve Season 2 will bring yet another chase on the television screen.

Pretty much like a good and catchy spy flick, the show will hold onto a less than a minute premiere to jumpstart the gripping plot. No less than AMC Entertainment Networks Sarah Barnett has confirmed the precursory approach.

Central to the storyline of the impending segments is the actual fate of Villanelle. While wounded, there is no guarantee that she is dead. This is what troubles Eve. Although it is difficult to assume that another antagonist is in the works, the likelihood of eliminating Comer's character is just too soon.

What makes the Season 2 quite enthralling is the fact that the whole pursuit is up for grabs. Eve is not the only one who is on the lookout for Villanelle. There are a few others who are also out to get Comer's character.

Jodie Comers has been kind enough to spell out a bit of the beans about the filming status when her Instagram posted a fun-filled production to date. Aside from Paris, the other backdrops for the show include London and Amsterdam.

A compelling angle on Killing Eve Season 2 is the presence of Carolyn Martens. The role played by Fiona Shaw is a top MI6 agent. Although viewers already know her relationship with the characters of Sandra Oh and Jodie Comers, a surprise may be waiting to be revealed considering that the hunt has gone several notches higher.

At this point, it is also vital that fans take a closer glimpse at a couple of new characters. Nina Sosanya, who starred in the Love Actually movie, may be shaking things up at the agency considering that her role is at the top echelon of the outfit. Then there's A Discovery of Witches' Edward Bluemel whose interrogation approach will be a striking speck to follow.

The series will also have changes in the writing aspect. Since Fleabag's new season is underway, Phoebe Waller-Bridge will move into the executive producer role. Emerald Fennell, whose credits include the popular Call the Midwife TV flick, will assume the vacated head writer position. Killing Eve Season 2 is slated to return on April 7 this year.
