Diane Ng, a 33-year-old freelance graphic designer and illustrator, shares how engaging in creative activities have helped her improve her emotional state. "I am transported to a happy place in my mind, where I feel settled and focused," explained Ng. This is why to her, "creative expression is therapy."

To people who are interested in embracing more their creative side but don't know where to start, Ng's advice is to start on the things they love to do. By digging deep into what interests them the most is the best way to motivate one person to love art.
