Nintendo announced that it is giving two of its biggest games VR support, allowing players to enjoy them in a totally different way using the upcoming Labo VR kit. Read on for details.

Nintendo has announced that it is adding VR support to "Super Mario Odyssey" and "The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild." These are two of Nintendo's best titles, and making them work with the upcoming Labo VR kit will obviously create more buzz for Nintendo's VR thrust, The Verge reported.

The Labo VR Kit will be available starting April 12.The two games, on the other hand, will be updated to feature VR support for the Labo VR on April 25. Once they are updated, players will get the chance to experience them on a totally different level.

Once updated, Super Mario Odyssey will have three new mini-missions added to the game, adding points for replayability. These mini-missions will take players back to the Cap, Seaside and Luncheon Kingdoms. Players will need to collect music notes and coins in order to complete the various objectives in each new mini-mission.

Unlike Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild won't have additional mini-missions. The VR update simply makes the whole game playable in VR, which makes for a totally new and immersive experience.

With Labo VR, players will be given the opportunity to journey through the vast kingdom of Hyrule once again, this time in full VR. Cutscenes won't be given the VR treatment, though.

Turning the VR feature on and off is easy. Players will simply need to pause the game, enter the system menu, press the options button, and toggle "Toy-Con VR Goggles" ON or OFF. Once the feature is turned on, players can then play the game using the Labo VR Goggles.

For those worried about having to start the game again so that it can be played in VR, there's no need to worry. Nintendo says players can turn the VR feature on at any time, without having to create a new game.

The updates to Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild are free, and will not cost players anything. The Labo VR Kit, however, isn't free, and will cost players a pretty penny if they want to play using VR.

The full Labo VR kit, which includes a variety of sets in one package, will be sold for $79.99. Those who want to the Labo VR starter kit can do so at $39.99. The basic starter kit includes the VR goggles and blaster set.
