After the season premiere, The Code Episode 2, titled "P.O.G." will return in a new timeslot on CBS next week. The debut episode has introduced the show's major characters, and they will be now up to a new problem in the next installment.
"A Marine is charged with abandoning his post during combat, resulting in the deaths of three soldiers," The Code Episode 2 official synopsis read. "Maj. Trey Ferry (Ato Essandoh) must iron out a diplomatic spat; Lt. Harper Li (Phillipa Soo) works to balance her duties to the Corps with planning her wedding."
The Code Episode 2 will be very interesting after the premiere episode introduced fans to these characters in only a short period of time. According to CarterMatt, Harper's wedding will be an important part of the show.
The writers know they have to make the most out of the time they have, and the characters have to prove that they have an interesting storyline to feature in The Code Episode 2, aside from being like the classic legal drama JAG. It will be hard for this new show to follow something like the iconic series. As it just begins, fans have to see how things will unfold.
The Code Episode 2 will be put on a new timeslot as CBS moves it to its original schedule. The network strategically debuted the show with NCIS to take advantage of the long-running series' high rating and to introduce the show to fans.
However, when The Code Episode 2 gets released next week, it will be on a new day as FBI is going to air its remaining episodes on Tuesday nights. So, what does the new series has to offer?
TV Fanatic reported The Code is about Marine attorneys that are prosecuting and defending servicemen that are accused of crimes while in service. Their unit is based in the Judge Advocate General's office at Quantico, commanded by Col. Glenn Turman (Dana Delany), the highest-ranked female officers in JAG.
The show has introduced fans to Major Ferry, a fierce prosecutor, who would continuously be seen on The Code Episode 2. It also features the office maverick, Captain John "Abe" Abraham (Luke Mitchell), while the defense is led by Captain Maya Dobbins (Anna Wood).
Also part of the show is Lt. Li and the tech-savvy Warrant Officer Rami Ahmadi (Raffi Barsoumian). It is not yet revealed who among these characters would break out, but The Code Episode 2 might hint who would suddenly turn into a bad guy.
The Code Episode 2, titled "P.O.G." will be on a new timeslot, starting on April 15. It will be usually seen week after week every Monday at 9 p.m. on CBS.
