Her special day falls on Easter Sunday, where she attends church at the at St George's Chapel in Windsor. According to the report, He Majesty spends her Easter break at the Windsor Castle, and she always makes a public appearance during the occasion for the traditional church service.
Over the past years, Queen Elizabeth has been accompanied by her husband, Prince Philip. But ever since the Duke of Edinburgh retired, he hasn't made an official appearance on Easter. Her Majesty has also been joined by other royal family members throughout the years, such as Prince Edward and the Countess of Wessex, the Duke of York, Princess Anne, as well as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
However, reports say Prince William and Kate Middleton will not be attending the Easter Sunday church service with Queen Elizabeth this year. The royal couple will reportedly be in Norfolk for the Easter school break of Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Also, it's not yet clear whether the Duke and Duchess will celebrate the first birthday of Prince Louis on April 23 in Norfolk.
It seems like Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle will not be present on occasion as well. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are preparing for the arrival of their first child, and there were rumors Markle could give birth on April 21. If ever, their child would share the same birthday with Queen Elizabeth. But royal fans need to wait for a while because the royal couple reportedly wants to keep private the arrival of their child.
Meanwhile, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles are expected to join Queen Elizabeth on Easter Sunday. Her Majesty's other grandchildren Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are also expected to attend this year's occasion, same as Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn along with their parents Prince Edward and the Countess of Wessex. Also, Peter Phillips usually attends the event together with his wife, and Zarah Tindall is expected as well.
After attending the church service, the royal family will reportedly go back to the Windsor Castle for a sit-down lunch. And since the day is also Queen Elizabeth's birthday, they would surely celebrate it with a big cake.
