After a heartbreaking scene between Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Rafael (Justin Baldoni), Jane the Virgin Season 5 Episode 5, titled "Chapter Eighty-Six," will feature a grand celebration. Jane will be celebrating her 30th birthday with a unicorn party, seeming everything will be fine.
"With everything that has been going on, Jane reluctantly agrees to let Rogelio (Jaime Camil) throw her a big 30th birthday party," Jane the Virgin Season 5 Episode 5 official synopsis read, per Express.co.uk. "Jane's mentor gives her some important advice that may help her start writing again."
Also in Jane the Virgin Season 5 Episode 5, Petra (Yael Grobglas) thinks she and JR (guest star Rosario Dawson) are in a good place. But, she will later realize that JR seems to see things differently.
The CW also released Jane the Virgin Season 5 Episode 5 promo where Jane could be seen with her family sitting around the table, saying it might be fun to throw a party this year for her birthday. Her son, Mateo (Elias Janssen), got excited with the idea and suggested that it should be a unicorn party.
In the next scene, Jane is sitting next to an improvised unicorn, a pony with a horn. Is she happy or sad? Will Rafael come to join in celebrating her birthday in Jane the Virgin Season 5 Episode 5?
The Jane the Virgin Season 5 Episode 5 promo and synopsis only give details about Jane's birthday party. It didn't reveal anything about the love triangle happening between Jane, Rafael, and Michael (Brett Dier).
Michael made a comeback to Jane's life in the previous episode after he lost his memory due to the electroshock therapy he suffered from being kidnapped by Sin Rostro. Now that he returns, will Jane choose him over Rafael now that she is confused if she will continue to divorce him?
According to Pop Buzz, while Jane struggled to come up with a solution on what she would do, Rafael was with her all the time. But as he recalled the time Jane always chose Michael, he finally asked her if she still loves him. Jane said she didn't know which seemed to be an answer for Rafael.
Rafael then told her the truth that she remembered the time when she always picked Michael over him, and the pain almost killed him. From here, he asked Jane to live. Was it a subtle act of their breakup? Fans are hoping to see how things would play out for these three in Jane the Virgin Season 5 Episode 5, which would be out on Wednesday, April 24, on The CW.
