Queen Elizabeth reportedly has a "very special relationship" with Prince Harry and has a "soft spot" for her grandson among her grandchildren. While Her Majesty is also close to Prince William, Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice, and others, the Duke of Sussex is the one who tickles the heart of their grandmother.

According to the former butler to Prince Charles, Grant Harrold, Queen Elizabeth lets her guard down a bit with Prince Harry, especially when they were in public. He said the two have a very special relationship and he believes the Duke of Sussex reminds Her Majesty a little bit of Prince Philip, particularly during his younger years.

When the Duke of Edinburgh was about the same age as Meghan Markle's husband, they reportedly looked the same. There were photos of how the two looked alike. These images were proof that Prince Harry has a Windsor blood, as well as Prince Philip's.

Meanwhile, Melanie Bromley of E! News said Queen Elizabeth and Prince Harry have a "fun granny-to-grandson relationship" compared to his brother Prince William - the future King. The reason why Her Majesty reportedly has a different relationship with the Duke of Cambridge is that they're more like a "half family and half business."

In addition to Queen Elizabeth and Prince Harry's close relationship, it can be noted Her Majesty has participated in playful takedowns of the Duke of Sussex. In fact, on her 92nd birthday, he gave a speech and joked at her grandmother, saying she's very difficult to buy gifts.

Moreover, the Queen also gave her grandson a lot of favor. Just last year, she made a bold move wherein she named Prince Harry as the new president of the Queen's Commonwealth Trust charity.  Aside from that, Her Majesty also allowed Markle to spend Christmas with them in 2017, even though she and the Duke of Sussex were not yet married at that time.

The former Suits actress is reportedly the first royal fiancée who spend Christmas day with the royal family.  An insider claims Queen Elizabeth would always say "yes" to Prince Harry whenever he asked for something because she adores him.

But perhaps, one of the biggest things Her Majesty did for her grandson was to convince him not to give up his royal life. Royal experts noted Prince Harry was a "reluctant" royal, and at one point of his life, he's reportedly willing to abandon everything and just live a normal life. But then, Queen Elizabeth convinced the Duke of Sussex to stay and continue with his duties in the Firm.
