A TGIT crossover is one of the events that every Shondaland fan is waiting for. Based on the schedule, the last crossover that happened between Station 19 and Grey's Anatomy premiered on October 18, 2018, which is already six months ago. And fortunately for the whole fandom, the two series will, once again, have a TGIT crossover next month.

Station 19 Season 2 and Grey's Anatomy Season 15 both last aired on April 18. And the upcoming crossover on May will serve as the return of the two series on the network. This is why it is very much expected that the viewership ratings will spike up just like what happened with the last crossover.

But while this is entirely exciting news for everyone, the upcoming crossover will be a very dramatic episode, especially for Station 19 Season 2. This is because someone from the station will be sent to the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. And mind the fans, this episode will not feature a simple injury.

In a recent interview with Digital Spy, Danielle Savre who plays the role of Maya teased that the whole fandom will love the upcoming crossover between Station 19 and Grey's Anatomy. Not only because of the actual crossover, but it's because the episode will "emotionally affect" everyone. Everyone will "cry a lot," the actress further explained.

There are hints all over the internet as well that someone will leave Station 19, permanently. But there are no confirmations yet about this matter. For all we know, this will set a new tone for Station 19 Season 2 considering that the series now only have three episodes left.

During the last few minutes of Station 19 Season 2 Episode 14, Vic thought Ripley stood her up, so she left the diner. But the last scene showed that Ripley ran into Levi Schmitt, who happens to be working at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, in a flower shop. And from there, Ripley collapsed, and Levi called for help.

This sets up the tone for the upcoming TGIT crossover. And there is a huge chance that the reported dramatic event will largely involve Ripley and Vic. But of course, the next episode of Station 19 Season 2 will not only draw its focus on the said characters.

If you would recall it, Maya, Jack, and Andy have their personal problems as well. So, the reconciliation between these characters might be tackled as well when the crossover airs on ABC.

Station 19 Season 2 and Grey's Anatomy Season 15 will both return on May 2 with an hour difference on the time slot. And it is quite encouraged for the fans to watch both of the episodes for the TGIT crossover.
