Breaking News: Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo Devoice Rumors Come Ture, Song-Song Couple Ending Their Marriage
Avid followers of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo were stunned when the pair announced their wedding plans in July 2017 after months of dating secretly. Neither of the two Descendants of the Sun stars has confirmed their relationship since they wanted to keep everything under wraps as much as possible. Now, fans of the Song-Song couple are wondering if they are already planning to have a baby.
Reports about Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo planning to build their own family already reignited after the actress announced that she is not accepting any offers yet until the end of the year. Following the conclusion of the Encounter series, the 37-year-old actress revealed that she wants to take a break from the limelight to attend to some personal matters. While Hye Kyo did not divulge the exact reason behind her decision, some fans speculated that she and Joong Ki might be planning to get pregnant already.
"I'm searching for a good scenario and drama. I want to greet fans with good production in the near future," Song Hye Kyo said during Sulwhasoo Singapore's launching event. "I want to have personal time. I came to think that I need some time of my own. I think I'll be resting for a while," Song Joong Ki's wife went on.
However, this might not happen very soon after Song Hye Kyo signed with Chinese director Wong Kar Wai. UAA, which is the agency of Song Joong Ki's wife, announced that the Descendants of the Sun actress is, indeed, doing a movie under the Jet Tone Films. Just a day before the declaration, Hye Kyo shared, during a Hong Kong film festival, that she would like to work on more projects with Chinese actors and directors.
It remains to be seen when the production of the imminent new move will kick off. However, if this will be the case, then, it might not be the best time for Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo to have a baby. The actress, previously, shared that having a baby is not their priority yet because of the amount of commitments and projects they have at the moment.
"Let the nature takes its course," Song Hye Kyo told the media, during the Omega Hongkong store opening in June 2018. "I'm not sure, but I believe that day will come," the better half of Song Joong Ki went on.
For his part, Song Joong Ki, also, revealed why having a baby is not yet a part of their priority list. "We have jobs in which we have the attention of a lot of people. I definitely did become more wary. I'd like to train my mind. I do have to be more serious looking into the future," the husband of Song Hye Kyo, previously, said. "The projects I choose will become different too, especially when I get married and have children. Right now, it seems far off," the Arthdal Chronicles star added.
