DJI, a Chinese company will once again invade the drone industry as the company is set to release its next-generation Phantom drone camera, the DJI Phantom 5.

The DJI Phantom 5 is rumored to come in two versions. The next generation of DJI Phantom 4 can be expected to have both the Zoom and the Pro which is set to feature interchangeable lenses.

The DJI Phantom 5 featuring the Zooming lens will have a Full HD capacity of up to seven times zoom. The amazing capacity comes as a product of the two times digital zoom and the 3.5 times optical zoom.

On the other hand, the DJI Phantom 5 Pro with interchangeable lenses will feature four lenses for drone users to choose from. DJI's latest release will boast at 16mm, 24mm, 35mm, and 50mm lenses.

Both the DJI Phantom 5 Zooming and Pro versions will have a capturing resolution of 22 Megapixels. The drone will also be capable of QuickShots, HyperLight as well as HDR photos. Capturing photos and footages are made smoother with its 360 Gimbals stabilization technology.

Video capturing is another treat that DJI Phantom 5 has in store for drone camera users with its 4K video quality. Aside from the ability to follow automatically follow its subject, the Phantom 4 successor also comes with built-in director software for editing videos and inserting music and texts.

Speed is not a problem as the DJI Phantom 5 is a powerful drone camera that can take up to 52 miles per hour speeds. This latest DJI drone camera features a companion app allows the controller to have a real-time view of the captured images.

An installed dual compass module makes the DJI Phantom 5 highly reliable for professional use. Not to mention the GPS technology for easier control and the ability to respond to hand movement control. The Phantom 4 successor ensures a protected flight up to 38mph as it is able to detect obstacles as far as 16 feet away with its five direction vision system.

The DJI Phantom 5 will be powered by 1.4 Lithium Polymer with automatic temperature adjustments. Flying above cold places, the batteries have the capacity to automatically heat up to adapt to the outside humidity while it automatically cools down in warm places.

Coming with the auto take off and auto-return attribute, the DJI Phantom 5 launches quietly with its low noise propellers that are easily released. This drone camera which is rumored to be released on April or May features a retractable landing gear.
