To the average Joe, this might seem like an innocent move, but to those who are in the know, this can fuel talks and murmurs. easymoneysniper will be a free agent this summer and kingjames is looking for someone to back him up in Los Angeles. If this is the case, then LeBron may be up to something.

Another website sees the follow as the start of James' "recruiting process." It's a subtle practice, to say the least, but there is a possibility that LeBron is finding a way to have KD wear the Purple and Gold uniform. "Druantula" will be an unrestricted free agent if he waives his player option with the Golden State Warriors. The Lakers meanwhile, will have around $38million to spend this summer.
In another perspective, several "people in the NBA" are not expecting Durant to re-sign with the Warriors "no matter what happens" to them in the Playoffs. They are currently facing the Rockets, with Durant fresh off a stellar 38-point first half barrage against the Los Angeles Clippers.
One point person also said that KD is still the Lakers' "top free agent priority." The team is also targeting New Orleans Pelicans big man Anthony Davis, but both superstars are also linked to the New York Knick as their next team. Rumor has it that the Knicks can trade for Davis should they land the No. 1 pick in the Draft Lottery while offering Durant a max contract in the process.
The future of the Lakers is still standing on a rocky boat. LeBron and company didn't exactly fair well this season, and fingers pointed to several factors that caused their early exit. LA will have to make key decisions this summer: find a new head coach to replace Luke Walton and President of Basketball Operations that was vacated by Magic Johnson. Also, they are on "second or third" place as prime destinations of Durant, Klay Thompson, and Kawhi Leonard. Signing one of them will turn the tide in favor of Los Angeles and should be a welcoming name beside LeBron.
