Louis Tomlinson gave their fans so much hope when he revealed in an interview that the band One Direction will still come together after four years of having an indefinite hiatus. The27-year-old member of the English-Irish pop boy band based in London has since moved on and is currently working on his solo music but did not close the door of a possibility than One Direction can still work on a project together.
The group which was formed in 2010 after signing with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Records after forming and finishing third in the seventh series of the British televised singing competition The X Factor.
Because of their sudden decision in January 2016, the members Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson went on to their separate careers while Zayn Malik initially departed from the group in 2015.
Although it was not what their fans have expected them to do, and has caused so much longing with questions hanging, to when this hiatus will end? However, despite the answer of Louis Tomlinson that a reunion is "inevitable," there is no assurance to when this will happen.
Louis Tomlinson paved the way to 35 songs of One Direction's success, and because he still has the heart for the group, he only wanted to be sure that every member of the band has the same vision for One Direction and that they are all finished with their projects.
Looking back on those "only incredible memories," Tomlinson recalled how the last two albums showed how they "ended up musically" with one goal even when they were just starting as a boy band. Adding on that he is very proud of what the band has become although now he wanted to make songs that he loves and not designed to be a hit.
After the fall of 2015, the Two Of Us crooner hasn't put out a full studio album yet but has released songs Back To You featuring Bebe Rexha, Miss You, and Just Like You. His first departure from One Direction music was his feature on 41-year-old DJ Steve Aoki's 2016 song Just Hold On.
On the other hand, Liam Payne is also on the same boat with Louis Tomlinson, who is still in the process of completing an album while Harry Styles has been trying his luck in acting with his movies like Dunkirk and some appearances on TV shows.
