Almost halfway across the final season of Game of Thrones and everyone's not too happy with the way things are progressing after the Battle of Winterfell. Naturally, many people will impart their Game of Thrones season 8 theories in light of keeping things in a better light until the inevitable time we all watch each episode.

ALERT: Spoilers from this point.

After we've seen the celebrations post-Night King, we've seen new romances form and old ones broken. Also, we've seen some disloyalty among the characters later on in the episode, and the undeniably shocking death of Dany's dragon Rhaegal at the hands of Euron Greyjoy and Missandei, Daenerys' second in command.

At this point, until episode 5 airs, we're all guessing what's going to happen next. One Game of Thrones theory suggests that Arya Stark may be the one to kill Daenerys. It sounds plausible, but somehow highly unlikely at first.

True enough, Arya admitted she didn't trust the Dragon Queen siding with Sansa during the meeting of the Starks (and a half-Stark because Jon Snow/Rhaegar Targaryen is there). Inverse cites Redditor user richmondjd11 from r/gottheories, who claimed that The Red Lady Melisandre said that Arya is to assassinate "those with green eyes, and even blue eyes" that led Arya to kill the Night King.

The Redditor claims Arya now perceives Dany as a threat to divide Winterfell's first family. Most likely, she is waiting in King's Landing for the opportune time to deliver the attempt. True enough, Arya will do anything for Jon Snow, and after discovering his Targaryen lineage, she is likely inclined to see her half-brother sit on the throne as the true successor whether Jon likes it or not.

One other theory comes from the two sibling dragons mating with each other. Before Rhaegal died in episode 4, fans suggested he had mated with Drogon. True enough, it's ridiculous because we all know the three dragons to be male. This appears to be the one of the most hilarious and farfetched Game of Thrones season 8 theories

However, Digital Spy mentions A Song of Ice and Fire and Game of Thrones creator George RR Martin suggesting that dragons can change their sex at will. Also, Drogon was not visible the entire fourth episode until the end when Rhaegal died. Some theorized he/she and Rhaegal had some kinky sessions previously, and Drogon flew somewhere else to lay eggs.

However, these are only two speculations, which are an entree to what can happen on episode 5 and the following episodes moving forward. What we're pretty sure about: Drogon is alive, and Dany's fury by Cersei's execution of Missandei will lead to her undoing if she decides to burn down King's Landing and forcefully take the Iron Throne once and for all.  But, until the episode airs, we can never really know.

Game of Thrones season 8 theories become true or disproven every Sunday night.
