Fans of How High finally get a sequel after waiting for almost two decades, and it premiered on April 20, 2019, on MTV. The stoner movie reportedly draws high ratings on MTV, particularly due to its release date. How High 2 is available on cable, as well as the website and app of MTV. However, other viewers are wondering if the sequel will also be available on Netflix and Hulu.

Currently, there's no news about the arrival of How High 2 on Netflix. The streaming giant barely has MTV content right now, so it's unlikely the movie will be added soon. But while the sequel wouldn't be available on Netflix, there are still other ways to stream it such as the MTV app which is available to download on Nvidia Shield, XBOX, Apple TV, Roku, iOS, and Android.

Regarding How High 2 release schedule on Hulu, there were no indications the stoner movie will be available there anytime soon. The streaming network has Viacom content, which is the owner of Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, VH1, and MTV so that viewers can watch other shows such as South Park or My Super Sweet 16 - but not How High 2.

Meanwhile, as mentioned, the 420 release date of the movie was a high for MTV, as the sequel reportedly drew 0.64 ratings in P18-49 and total viewers of 801,000 on the Live+same day. That means MTV had its highest-rated Saturday in the past six years, as per the network and Nielsen.

Moreover, the sequel reportedly dominated the social media as no. 1 most social non-sports program through the weekend, and also surpassed the period average by 133 percent. This is a milestone for the movie, as the original film How High didn't get critical acclaim when it was released in 2001 - starring Method Man and Redman.

How High 2, however, is completely different as it follows two new characters Roger (Lil Yachty) and Calvin (D.C. Young Fly). The sequel features the duo or the "stoner buddies," wherein they discovered a "Weed Bible" in their basement wall. So, they used it to harvest magical marijuana plant, which gives them the best weed they have ever smoked. But when their beloved weed plant has been stolen, they'll do everything to get it back.

The sequel also stars Mike Epps, who plays the role of Baby Powder in the first movie. Stand-up comedian Deray Davis and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes are also part of the film.
