Everyone was surprised to see how Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) turned into a Mad Queen when she put the whole King's Landing on the blaze in Game of Thrones Season 8 penultimate episode, titled "The Bells." As nobody like what she did, not even her loyal servant Jon Snow (Kit Harington), who would stop her from madness? The show is about to release its series finale, and there are now theories how things will end for the Mother of Dragons.
Varys' Letters
Varys (Conleth Hill) was seen writing a letter, which held the truth about Jon's real identity as the real heir to the throne in "The Bells." Before he was sentenced to death, the Spider might manage to send out the notes to all the leaders of the Seven Kingdoms that might help control Daenerys from reigning.
Varys was writing since the morning before he burned the last letter when he heard Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson) and his army coming to fetch him. So, could Varys' move help reveal the truth about Jon that might bring Daenerys down in Game of Thrones Season 8?
Varys To Poison Daenerys
Aside from plotting her fall down, Varys might also be planning to poison Daenerys in Game of Thrones Season 8, per Game Spot. When his young spy, Martha, entered the room, she said Daenerys "won't eat." He then answered they would "try again at supper."
In fear, Martha revealed Daenerys' army was watching her, to which Varys said, "The greater the risk, the greater the reward." He then sent Martha back to the kitchen. This scene gave birth to the theory Varys was trying to poison Daenerys to end her reign.
The Green Eye Theory
"I see darkness in you. And in that darkness, eyes staring back at me," Melisandre (Carice van Houten) told Arya (Maisie Williams) in Season 2. "Brown eyes, blue eyes, green eyes. Eyes sealed shut forever."
Arya already killed the brown-eyed Walder Frey (David Bradley) and the blue-eyed Night King (Vladimir Furdik). Now, whose green eyes Arya would kill in Game of Thrones Season 8?
A lot of fans thought Arya would kill green-eyed Cersei (Lena Headey). But, she died with her brother/lover Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) when the Red Keep collapsed due to Daenerys' wrath. Now, the only left green-eyed character in Game of Thrones Season 8 was Daenerys.
There are theories Melisandre's prophecy was about Daenerys, who has green eyes. Arya witnessed what happened to King's Landing and the innocent people that she failed to save. There was even a scene where she eyed Daenerys while burning the city, seeming to find a way to stop her. Fans have to wait and see how things would unfold as the end is about to come in Game of Thrones Season 8 finale on Sunday, May 19, at 9 p.m. on HBO.
