Afterward, ex-husband Ben Affleck came out of from the house and joined them.

Fans can't help but wonder what happened to this beautiful family but the same goes with the rest of the ordinary families out there, that there is no such thing as perfect. Sadly, Garner and Affleck are at their best when they are separated and that is what people call it "bittersweet."
It was more or less 13 years of marriage and the former A-list couple has been obviously trying their best to save it, starting from 2015 as they announced their separation, fans thought they can still find a way. However, Garner and Affleck learned to have lives outside their marriage permanently as their divorce was then finalized in October 2018.

With this scenario, they were able to have an amicable relationship and even strengthened their friendship as the two stars are frequently seen together for walks in tr neighborhood.
Jennifer Garner is apparently still in a relationship with businessman Jon Miller while Ben Affleck ended his long-distance relationship with TV producer Lindsay Shookus. The estranged couple's divorce came after Ben Affleck's rehab to address alcohol addiction, an effort in the part of Jennifer Garner became an effective intervention to save the harmony in their home. In an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres show, the 46-year old actor admitted that he is now in a much better place and instead of being embarrassed, he felt "grateful" after what he has been through.
