Ben Affleck will never leave these two things that make him grounded, his children and his career. The Batman vs. Superman star has been through a lot in terms of his conditions and how his family has helped him a lot. His ex-wife Jennifer Garner has even accompanied him on his treatments and rehabilitation, as they prove to be most effective as co-parents.

Living in Los Angeles where Ben Affleck is really at home means not more than a thousand miles away from his children and his work. There is no doubt that the actor/director is still accepting projects despite continuing his alcoholic addiction treatment programs. There are at some point and situations that Affleck has to turn down an offer or step out from a project not because he doesn't want to work anymore, as some sources kept on writing without any basis at all, but because of personal reasons or conflicting schedules. It is true that Ben Affleck has agreed to continue his treatments after a 40-day stay at the rehabilitation, but this doesn't mean that the "cape crusader" will leave all behind, even his family and career.

Some sources are already speculating that Affleck wants to leave the limelight and start a laid back lifestyle on a farm. But this report was proven to be phony when Ben Affleck happened to buy a mansion in Pacific Palisades, not so far from his previous abode with Jennifer Garner. What has become of this award-winning actor was that after undergoing treatments for his alcoholic addiction, he became more interested in his sobriety, family, and career.

Another way to prove that Ben Affleck has never intended to leave Los Angeles is a recent report that he and Lindsay Shookus have lost touch due to their priorities and location, considering that Affleck is in Los Angeles and Shookus works in New York. However the Triple Frontier star, 46 and the Saturday Night Live producer, 38, has earlier grabbed coffee together and were spotted again in a sushi dinner, but they are in Los Angeles. This is a good sign for Ben Affleck not to mention his numerous projects like I Am Still wherein Affleck will soon star in and produce this adaptation of Kate Alice Marshall's novel. He is also committed to directing the drama Triple Frontier with Charlie Hunnam and Garrett Hedlund, Torrance, and The Last Thing He Wanted where he played opposite to Anne Hathaway.
