Beth Chapman reveals that the present and ongoing fight she has with her stepdaughter Lyssa Chapman has, quite literally, been killing her.
Duane Dog The Bounty Hunter Chapman's wife was previously diagnosed with stage II throat cancer and has had a couple of chemotherapy sessions already. She was reportedly rushed to the hospital back in November 2018, when her husband was in a state of panic after she had been suffering from difficulties in breathing and speaking.
Fans from all over the various social media sites have been wishing her well and including her in their prayers. However, in one interaction on Twitter, the television reality star had brought up quite bluntly the fact over her big spat with her 31-year-old stepdaughter. The recent drama between the two has only intensified the older Chapman's deteriorating health condition.
Beth made the beef between her and her daughter public on May 23, when she took to Twitter to vent about her disappointments with the latter. She tweeted about how not only did the younger Chapman not even think to greet her on Mother's Day, but also how the latter deliberately made sure Beth and her husband were excluded and uninvited to their granddaughter's high school graduation (when in fact she, Beth, would have moved mountains just to be there on the special day).
A fan who claimed to also have been suffering from cancer then replied to Beth about how some particular family members make living with the sickness even harder and aggravate the condition with their negativity. To this, Beth replied, agreeing how family members can be so insensitive and say things about their illness that are inappropriate for the people going through such to hear.
After Beth's initial round of shady tweets toward her stepdaughter, Lyssa broke her silence and spoke about the issue of the Mother's Day greeting---or the lack thereof. She posted a screenshot of a text which had been sent to her mother on Mother's Day. It was addressed 'grandma.'
So Beth retaliated, saying that the text was not from her stepdaughter Lyssa, but her granddaughter, and that, as per usual, her estranged stepdaughter had done nothing to reach out to her directly.
In response to that, Lyssa gave her a final statement with an ultimatum. The younger Chapman told her stepmother that she had her Mother's Day text and all the unanswered messages she had sent the older Chapman, but would be the better person and stop retaliating online with "receipts" of it.
She also told Beth to focus on the positive things in life and that she would not battle with elder Chapman any longer. She also added that, if Beth ever wanted to talk again, the latter had her number and told her to use it, as opposed to publicly calling her out.
The older Chapman quickly got on the defensive, especially when fans were starting to question her public outburst and rants about her daughter. Beth claimed she was blocked by Lyssa and that the younger Chapman would not answer her calls. That made her feel like the only way to reach her stepdaughter was online and publicly.
Fans have expressed how they wish the drama would die down for Beth Chapman's sake and her health, if not for anyone else's.
No word on the matter was volunteered by Duane, Beth's husband and Lyssa's father, regarding the social media skirmish between his wife and daughter.
