There will be new cast members making their way to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6. ABC drops the new characters' set photos, teasing a serious problem is about to come.
Fans are about to meet the man behind the problems the agents are facing in the universe, along with a new kind of Enoch. In the new photos, via TVLine, Anthony Michael Hall and Sherri Saum will be joining the original cast members to play the role of Mr. Kitson and Atarah, respectively.
Mr. Kitson is the wicked ruler of the alien gaming empire in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6. It is where Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Enoch (Joel Stoffer) tried to cheat the tables, and Jemma (Elizabeth Henstridge) and Daisy (Chloe Bennet) tripped balls. So, fans can expect to see him on a lookout for the agents as he may be their new villain.
Atarah, on the other hand, is an antagonistic Chronicon who wants to attain something from the team. Atarah can be the agents' new ally, but it will depend on her needs for them.
Hall and Saum are not the only new faces fans are about to see in the new season. Karolina Wydra is announced to make her way to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6 as the galactic mercenary Izel. Christopher James Baker also joins the show as Malachi, the assassin who nabbed Fitz.
The majority of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6 scenes are all set in space. Fitz and Enoch took a great risk to obtain their freedom. Alternatively, Daisy and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) have lost their minds due to some alien edibles.
However, it looks like the series' intergalactic storyline will continue until the series ends. The show just recently introduced Malachi, while Izel is yet to appear on the small screen.
Screen Rant reported there would be more cosmic characters coming to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6. The search for Fitz could bring the team into a larger story that might be played on the rest of the season.
The new season only has 13 episodes to feature, and it is now four episodes deep. With only nine episodes to release, the introduction of new characters may soon happen.
The show had a rough start, but Marvel TV and ABC now managed to maintain the series' level of success. The series continuously reinvents itself to keep fans entertained and deliver new storylines.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6 airs every Friday on ABC. The network already renewed the show for Season 7, which might be its final bow.
