Baby Sussex Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is a month old, and pretty soon, the first-born child of Duchess Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be christened in the Church of England. Speculations are that this royal baby's baptism will take place this summer.

Royal tradition dictates that a baby's baptism should follow two to three months after birth. Archie's cousins, the children of Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton, were all christened when they were about three months old. Thus, it might be fair to speculate that Archie will have his baptism either in June or July but then again, his parents haven't always followed royal traditions.

The royal palace hasn't officially announced Archie's baptism details. However, speculations suggest that it will likely happen before Queen Elizabeth flies to Scotland for her annual summer trip in mid-July.

It's also likely that the Sussex royals will have their baby's baptism at St. George's Chapel in Windsor, where they got married. According to Today's Parent, it's within walking distance to their home on Frogmore Cottage. It was also the same church where Prince Harry was baptized in 1984.

Archie will also likely don the family baptism heirloom, a heavily-ruffled Honiton lace christening gown. More than 60 royal babies had worn this piece, including Prince Harry before it was preserved in 2004. Today's royal babies have been christened wearing the replica.

Entertainment Tonight came up with a list of potential godparents for Archie's baptism. Among them were Prince Harry's best friend, Charlie van Straubenzee, or his most trusted confidante, Tom Inskip. But Prince Harry might also pick Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, the co-founder of Sentebale, the HIV/AIDS charity organization they built together.

It's also possible that the Sussex royals could pick their beloved sister-in-law Duchess Kate as one of the godparents. Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry might also go with his cousin Princess Eugenie or Zara Philips, or the former actress' best friends Serena Williams, Jessica Mulroney or Abigail Spencer.

According to The Sun, Misha Nonoo could also be on the list of godparents. The American designer, after all, set up Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry's first date more than two years ago.

Royal experts, however, say that Archie's baptism, just like his birth, won't be a spectacle. The main members of the family -- such as the Queen and Prince Philip, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, the Cambridges and their kids, and Duchess Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland -- will expectedly be in attendance.  The palace will likely release photos of the event a few days after it happened.
