Jenelle Evans was seen at custody court Tuesday with her husband, David Eason, followed by her ex Nathan Griffith and their son, Kaiser.

Evans and her husband were seen June 4 as they made another appearance at court, in relation to their Child Protective Services case. The two have been carrying through with their battle to win back custody of their children after an incident at their home which involved Evans' pet dog.

The couple had tried to maintain a low profile as they arrived at the courthouse in North Carolina where their case was being heard. Evans looked armed with a goodly sheaf of papers, dressed in a dark suit.

After a short while, Evans' and Eason's arrival was followed by Nathan Griffith's and Kaiser's. Following the incident that started the ongoing custody battle, Griffith gained the custody of his and the 27-year-old Teen Mom 2 actress' aforementioned son.

Initially, there was no indication during the said court appearance whether the embattled couple's other children were present. However, later in the day, Evans was observed hugging her daughter Ensley, who later left the court's vicinity with her grandmother.

There was no detailed information forthcoming from the camp of Evans and Eason regarding this recent court appearance. But it was found that the two had merely been asked to be present and provide an up-to-date account of their efforts to complete counselling and parenting classes.

Since last year in May, the wife and husband have been attending court in an effort to fight for their rights in regaining full custody of their three kids, Jace, who is 9 years old, Kaiser, 4 years, and Ensley, 2. The present situation came about after an incident in the couple's home, which had led to Eason causing the death of Evans' French bulldog, Nugget. Eason's defense had been that the dog had taken a bite at his daughter Ensley's cheek.

The reality stars were investigated after a complaint was filed against them for endangering their children, who were found to have been present during the time the said pet was killed with a shotgun. Not long after the incident, Evans had considered getting divorced, but the judge's ruling during an earlier hearing was that it did not matter if the actress was pursuing that.

The court had decided that she had not acted in the best interests of her children when the incident of her pet's reported violent death at the hands of her husband occurred. She had "failed" to "protect" her children, the judge had ruled. Up to the present, Evans' two children, son Jace and daughter Ensley, are with their grandmother, Evans' mother, Barbara.

Evans' representative, Johnny Donovan, said in a statement that the couple are "cooperating" with the court but while "concerns" are being appreciated, the couple had no present comments.
