The "Kiss Kiss" singer Chris Brown went on social media and hinted at a possible Drake collaboration.
Rhythm and blues star Chris Brown recently went on Instagram to drop clues on a possible summer collaboration with Canadian rapper Drake. The photograph he posted of himself posing with the Grammy Award winner spoke volumes.
Brown captioned his post "summer time" which he said was about to "get" a great deal "hotter," searing into every fan's mind what most have been looking forward to for some time. The pop hit artist's fans responded by expressing their support of the 30-year-old star.
One pointed out he had been shouting it out for years that should the two music artists "squash the beef" and come up with a "collab," it would be scorching hot.
Another indicated the surprise was too much and that until now, after waiting "for years" for something like it to happen, "we still" are "not ready." Still another user declared it would be "one of the best" collaborations and that "Taurus and Scorpio" will be making "greatness."
A fan was jubilant over the implications, pointing out "emotions" were getting "serious" with regard to "this song," adding that "every Taurus" understandably "needs a Scorpio." One Instagram user pointed out that the two artists have "forever" been "dragging" it out and that the two were bound to "drop something" or else "keep it moving."
Still, someone with a long memory made reference to something that transpired between the two in the past. The comment on the post asked if the two would-be collaborators recalled chucking "bottles" at one another "at a club."
Expanding on this comment, another follower jumped in to say that Brown and Drake had gone from "throwing bottles" to possibly "popping bottles," which the same fan declared, "anything" was "possible."
The long-lasting quarrel the two had been going on about had stemmed from their failed previous love affairs with the same woman, Rihanna, who has not been on talking terms with either.
Last year, it was known that Brown and Drake had ended their controversial public row when the latter invited the former to perform a song from his Heartbreak on a Full Moon album, "Party," at his Los Angeles event. Since that time, they have both been seen more often than usual spending time with the other.
While the two were together at Drake's New Year's party this year, it was just lately that the "God's Plan" singer as good as confirmed the hinted at "2019 cookup" he posted about on his Instagram account, confirming he and Brown are truly working on something.
