The Duke and Duchess of Sussex showed off their first-born son Archie Harrison to the world two days after his birth last May 6. Now, royal watchers expect that new photos of Baby Sussex will be released in time for Father's Day.
The paternal commemoration will be observed in the U.K., as well as the rest of the world on June 16. According to Hello, the royal couple will likely release another photo of Archie on this day, which will be Prince Harry's first Father's Day.
Last May 12, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan paid tribute to moms on Mother's Day by uploading a photo of Archie's tiny feet on their official Instagram account. The post noted that this was the first Mother's Day for the duchess.
Royal watchers have been eager to see more photos of Archie after his public outing last May. The infant was not at the recent Trooping the Colours ceremony to mark the Queen's official birthday.
Experts told Town & Country that Archie was too young to be around a large crowd. Preferably, babies less than two months old should still be safely tucked at home. Royal baby Archie won't turn two months until July 6.
Archie's cousins weren't in the Trooping of Colours until they were over a year old. Prince George, born in July 2013, skipped the 2014 events because he was not even one at that time. Princess Charlotte was able to attend this first major public outing at age one year and one month. Prince Louis was also at the royal balcony at about the same age.
Meanwhile, Archie Harrison is yet to be christened in the Church of England, and royal watchers believe that this celebration will happen later in the year. Royal traditions usually dictate that a baby must be baptized within six months of the birth, but once this time comes, expect that there will be plenty of pictures of the baby.
Archie doesn't have a royal title to his name just yet. According to reports, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan think it would be complicated at this point to have baby carry a royal title.
Instead, Archie is simply called Master Archie and will likely receive a dukedom once he gets married. But as with other royals, especially those not in the direct line of succession, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan might allow their son to have a normal life outside of their royal duties.
